Welcome to the online Holistic Somatic Healing Course by Meghan Aro.

Key Objectives: 

  1. Learn the building blocks of nervous system regulation

    1. Establish mind/body awareness

    2. Understand how nutrition and lifestyle habits impact your emotional/mental experience of yourself

  2. Navigate emotions from a place of safety in the body 

    1. Establish the difference between the experience of safety and distress in the body

    2. Explore how to build more safety into your life through your connection to yourself, connection to others, and connection to environment

    3. Lay the ground work for building emotional agility

  3. Utilize newfound internal capacity tap into a greater sense of ease, pleasure and joy

  • This course is designed to provide a framework that brings together somatic healing, nervous system/body literacy, emotional intelligence, and personal growth. You’ll walk away from this experience with a strong foundation to build greater internal capacity to experience both the hard and good things in life.

Course Overview

  • Part 01 / Introduction

    Part One is a brief introduction to your teacher and the course. You’ll get a quick run down of your nervous system and how it works to keep you safe.

  • Part 02 / Mind & body literacy

    Part Two looks at establishing mind/body awareness and deep dives into how your nervous system makes up your experience of yourself and your world.

  • Part 03 / lifestyle

    In Part Three we take talk about how your daily habits and nutrition contribute to an overall sense of chemical regulation in the body, and how this affects your mental and physical health.

  • Part 04 / emotional agility

    Part Four is about learning how to identify, experience, and navigate your emotions. We’ll look at some key emotional regulation techniques and talk about how to broaden your tool kit for experiencing the hard stuff in life.

  • Part 05 / building safety

    In Part Five we’ll talk about safety from the perspective of your body. You’ll learn how to more concretely work towards creating safety from within so that we can move away from survival strategies.

  • Part 06 / Joy, Pleasure, & Values

    In Part Six we’ll wrap up by talking about how to take everything you’ve learned and use it to actively create the version of yourself that you want to be in the world, and the experiences that fill you up.
